WALK THE EARTH

As most of you know I love TED Talks (also FORA.tv is fantastic). The speeches stoke my creativity, entice my intellect, and challenge me to become smarter, better, and more effective. This speech is great example.
For almost three decades, John Francis has been a planetwalker, traveling the globe by foot and sail with a message of environmental respect and responsibility (for 17 of those years without speaking). A funny, thoughtful talk with occasional banjo.

NATIVE AMERICAN

So, last night to celebrate my distance from America and my longing for home cooked apple pie, moist turkey, mashed potatoes and Niagra Falls of gravy over everything; I met up with a bunch of other students and we had the next closest thing...sushi night!

Tubular Thanksgiving!

THANKSGIVING

So for Thanksgiving dinner I had some amazing homemade sushi and played football. I love America....er, umm....italy. or Japan...no, America.

MASTER OF ALL TRADES JACK OF NONE

I heard a quote today that I think is a great way to look at life:
“If you do many things you get to feel lousy about everything, you don’t get to master feeling lousy about just one thing.”
-Isaac Mizrahi

I am learning to appreciate my feelings of being just slightly bored with everything.

Awesome!
